ECSTATIC SOUND MOVEMENT™
Music by Bradford Keeney
Ecstatic Sound Movement is a simple but profound means of catching sacred emotion, tapping into the life force, and sparking an inner fire. ESM is a brief, daily practice that involves effortless body movement aligned with unique, spiritually engineered music. It’s based on over fifty years of exploring the complex acoustic and kinetic patterns that evoke spiritual electrification and mystical sensation. Below is a sampling of the more than one thousand special audio tracks Brad has created on acoustic piano and digital keyboards.
We explore the deeper aspects of Ecstatic Sound Movement in the Guild, but you can try it right now in its most basic form using the following instructions. Note: it’s simplest to perform ESM on a sturdy bench or chair to facilitate sound concentration and spontaneity.
1. Before you begin, take a few deep breaths. Breathe smoothly, naturally, and without effort. Feel your body become lighter.
2. Play a track from the list below. The instructions are simple: allow your body to move naturally and in sync with the sounds you hear. As you breathe, listen, and move, the electrical life force current will circulate through you. Now drop that thought from your conscious mind. Only concentrate on the sound and let it move you without effort. Breathe, listen, and move!

AUDIO DISCUSSIONS

God is Who Chi Coo: We discuss Brad’s first spiritual awakening, the cosmic power of Erroll Garner’s Music, and finding a home in the Kalahari.
Over the years, people have often asked Brad, “What preceded your spiritual awakening in the chapel at age 19?” A recent dream of jazz pianist, Erroll Garner, jogged Brad’s memory. It also inspired a new reflection on what happened after that fateful night. Among other things: loneliness, the search for home, and a fear of blasting off into the universe and never returning. We also chat about heart awakening vs cognitive illumination, why we bristle at the word “consciousness,” the cosmic power of Erroll Garner’s music, and the joy of living to catch that Who Chi Coo feeling.
